Volkswagen delivers 4.73 million vehicles worldwide

Volkswagen has said that it has delivered a whopping 4.73 million vehicles globally in 2025.
Approximately 382,000 (8.1%) of the 4.73 million vehicles were all-electric, with Europe receiving 247,900 units (a jump of 49.1%), which includes the brand's home market of Germany (93,800, a jump of 60.7%).
The new best-selling model in the ID. family, the ID.7, was a major driver of this growth. Around 35,000 units of this model were delivered in Germany, with Europe seeing a total of 76,600 ID.7 units.
The company expects demand for its EVs to rise in 2026 as it plans to roll out many new all-electric models, including the ID. Polo and the production version of the ID. Cross compact SUV.
