Volkswagen reveals new long wheelbase three-row ID. Buzz

The all-electric Volkswagen ID. Buzz can now truly count itself a minibus with the reveal of a new, seven-seater long wheelbase variant.
Unveiled on 2 June 2023 - now considered International Volkswagen Bus Day - at a gathering in Huntington Beach, California the new three-row long wheelbase ID. Buzz spans a total length of 4,962mm.
The long wheelbase Volkswagen ID. Buzz will come with a 1.5sqm panoramic sunroof, said to be the largest yet built by Volkswagen Its wheelbase has also grown a total of 250mm. Volkswagen states that the minibus is now able to offer a maximum of 2,469 litres of cargo space, up from the 2,205 litre of space offered from the two-row ID. Buzz when only the front seats are in place.

However, Volkswagen states that it will launch a ID. Buzz GTX complete with 335bhp and all-wheel drive come 2024. This more powerful variant will complete the century sprint in 6.4 seconds, making it perfect for those long road trips across the U.S.A.

As for what awaits Singaporean customers, a spokesperson from Volkswagen Singapore has stated that pre-sales for the minibus are slated to begin in mid-2024.
