Volkswagen Tiguan tuned by ABT Sportsline

Externally, the tuned Tiguan features a body kit which includes a honeycomb grille, front and rear aprons, side skirts, carbon fibre trim, a rear bumper insert and a tailgate-mounted spoiler. There is also a package which lowers the suspension by 20mm, while a four-pipe exhaust system and a variety of alloy wheel designs in 18 to 20-inches are also available.

ABT has also modified the various engines that are available for the Tiguan, giving them a power boost. The 2.0-litre TDI unit for example, gets an increase of 30bhp, from 140bhp to 170bhp, while the other 2.0-litre TDI with 170bhp as standard gets a bump up to 195bhp.

For the petrol engines, the 1.4-litre TSI sees its output increased from 160bhp to 210bhp, while the 2.0-litre TSI engine with a standard 180bhp gets an additional 30bhp to 210bhp. Finally, the 2.0-litre TSI with 210bhp gets an extra 40bhp to produce a final output of 250bhp.
