Unfortunately, none of the 11 F1 teams are recruiting drivers. But if you want an upclose experience of the Grand Prix in Singapore, race promoter Singapore GP is inviting the public to sign up as volunteer race officials for this year's Formula One Singapore Grand Prix.
Registration is open and runs till the 31st March 2013, 11:59pm.

Volunteers need to be 18-years old and above as of 1st January 2013 and be physically fit. They should also be fluent in written and spoken English, be able to commit to all scheduled training sessions.
It is also mandatory for volunteers to participate in all three days of the race - from the 20th to 22th September 2013. Successful candidates will be notified by 30th April 2013.
"Since the inaugural night race in 2008, we have trained over 2,500 volunteer marshals and with a retention rate of at least 85 percent, it is as much a pleasure as it is a challenge to continually raise the bar each year. I look forward to working with the new volunteers in making the 2013 Formula One Singapore Grand Prix a roaring success," said Mr. Gabriel Tan, Clerk of the Course, Singapore GP Pte Ltd.
The sixth consecutive night race on our island continues to receive rave reviews from the Formula One group, including Mr. Bernie Ecclestone, who hails Singapore as a 'jewel in F1's crown which keeps getting polished'.
