Volvo is celebrating its 96th birthday, and Wearnes Automotive, its exclusive brand retailer in Singapore, is packing in a whole host of activities for the family to celebrate!
The activities will take place from 29 to 30 April between 12:00pm and 5:00pm at its showroom, located at 249 Alexandra Road, Singapore (159935).
Kicking off the activities is a children's recycled car workshop, where the young ones can create their own cars out of recycled materials. And for this special weekend, the showroom will also host a bouncy castle, alongside face painting and balloon sculpting activities, all to keep the children entertained.
Those with a sweet tooth can also look forward to a chocolate bomb workshop, where attendees can learn how to make their own delicious chocolate treats. And there's also a car fragrance pouch workshop, so visitors will be able to drive away from the event with their own car smelling fresher than ever.
Various light bites and ice cream will also be on offer for all as they explore the showroom and get up close and personal with the latest Volvos.
Also present at the showroom is a special heritage gallery showcasing Volvo's brand and safety milestones over the years. The gallery itself is constructed with an innovative modular cardboard building system that utilises highly compressed paper square bars and recyclable connectors, so the materials used in this system are 100% recyclable.
The activities are open to both Volvo owners and the public. Wearnes encourages those interested to register their spots in advance here to avoid disappointment.
