Volvo to launch new over-the-air update in the U.S.A

Volvo has announced that it will soon have delivered a total of a million over-the-air updates to it vehicles to date.
The announcement comes as the firm readies to deliver what will be its 11th over-the-air update, which is scheduled to reach 350,000 customer cars around the globe, making it the largest ever covered in one single deployment.
With the latest over-the-air update, Volvo owners will be able to check on the status of their car by issing a simple 'Hey Google' command For this update, compatible vehicles in the U.S.A will gain seamless connectivity with Google Assistant compatible devices, allowing owners to check their battery or fuel, start the vehicle's climate control or the charging status of your car and even start or end a charging session all through a simple 'Hey Google' command on their device, from the comfort of their own home.
Also being introduced in this update is a Care Key feature, which will allow users to limit the maximum speed on your car even further than the built-in limit. Volvo states that a new button has also been added into the infotainment menu to allow for easier removal of a paired device.
Volvo states that the total number of markets covered by this update has increased to 68, which constitutes more than half of all markets globally in which over 95% of Volvo cars are sold.
