Volvo XC60 gets Black Edition in the U.S.A

More than a year after unveiling the S60 Black Edition, Volvo Car U.S.A has now launched the XC60 Black Edition.

Available in the U.S.A as a 2024 model, the SUV is only available in the top-specification 'Ultimate' equipment level. It comes in a stealthy Onyx Black, paired with black details including a gloss black iron mark logo and Volvo word mark, as well as 21-inch five-spoke high gloss black alloy wheels.

The Volvo XC60 Black Edition comes with gloss black 21-inch rims, as well as a crystal gear shift knob by Orrefors

The special edition car will also come with a black headliner in the cabin, although customers will be able to choose between either Charcoal ventilated Nappa leather seats or Charcoal sport seats, upholstered in Nappa leather/leatherette/textile. All examples of the XC60 Black Edition will also come with a crystal gear shift knob by Orrefors and a 12.3-inch Digital Driver Display complete with Google built in.

The Volvo XC60 Recharge will be available as a B5 model which comes with a 244bhp 2.0-litre engine equipped with mild hybrid technology, or a T8 model that comes with a plug-in hybrid drivetrain that combined system output of 449bhp. This T8 model can deliver a total of 56km of all-electric range.

Deliveries of the XC60 Black Edition are scheduled to commence in the U.S.A come early 2024.
