Good for younger people. -
Was shopping for a compact hatch and test driven the VW Golf and Audi A1 SB 2015. Was won over by Audi's built quality and its new 3 pot turbocharged engine which felt much more powerful than it is on paper. The car handled like it was powered by a bigger engine. Its capacity would also mean cheaper road tax, but still more than sufficient for Singapore roads. Drove to Malacca and did not have any problems keeping up with bigger engine cars, and was clocking 130 to 150km/h on the North-South Highway with ease. Fuel consumption is not as per indicated on paper, but still frequenting the gas stations every 18 to 19 days interval.» Read More

There are plenty of reasons to like this car. Other than the added dose of practicality, this small car with a
premium badge is well built and has ample go to match its show.
The Audi A1 Sportback is largely similar to his sinister twin the A1 albeit the added doors. Back when Audi introduced the A1 the idea of a premium of hatchback did not really click well with the local auto community but one thing was certain, the Gold and Polo were threatened.
Despite retaining the overall length and wheelbase length of its three door A1 twin, the two additional doors on the body of a city car was beneficial for young families with small children. Its form is clearly in line with the design language of the marque, resulting in a bold and stylish look when parked in the open while sporting a clean unbroken line on the side that flows across the doors before ending at the rear side panels.
The A1 Sportback is sporty yet mature. The rear end is inspired from the bigger Q line of vehicles and the youthful looking design is sure to win you over. The additional doors allow occupants to access the back seats with greater ease. You get slightly better headroom in this compared to the A1 coupe. The cabin is well furbished and the seats are well upholstered and well-bolstered to pamper you over long distances, and the expanded dimensions inside might fool you into forgetting you are in fact in a humble city car.
Audi's reputation for sumptuous materials and exemplary build quality in the A1 Sportback supersedes many of its fellow peers. The cabin is a plush environment, with cleverly designed layout, precise detailing and the kind of technology you would find in bigger luxury cars. The retractable 6.5-inch display located on the centre top stage of the dash is straightforward and it packs all the buttons and controls to a single knob on the centre console.
The A1 Sportback front end has a lot of grip with very little body roll that encourages you to push the box to get a little more oomph as its precision allows you to carve a neat line through the twisties.
