MINI unveils Cooper T - its April Fools' prank

MINI continues its tradition of unveiling ground breaking concepts on April Fools' Day - this year with the really British Cooper T. Although it looks like any other ordinary MINI from the outside, the MINI Cooper T is the world's first vehicle to be powered by a tea-leaf biofuel composite.

This revolutionary new (mock) model would be available in a variety of colours - inspired by tea flavours nonetheless - including 'Chamomile Yellow', 'Red Bush' and 'Earl Grey', and is expected to cause a real stir in the motor industry when it's served up later this month.

Capable of covering up to a respectable 64km on a single cup, MINI believes the Cooper T isn't a thirsty machine. The iconic hatchback boasts all the standard safety features of a road car including ABS. The highlight of the mock Cooper T would be the Dunk Avoidance Technology (DAT). The ingenious DAT filtration system would prevent owners and other pedestrians from inserting biscuits into the MINI T's fuel tank in order to moisten their snacks.
