Alexander Blackie to be new Manager for Audi Sport customer racing Asia

Alexander Blackie has been appointed Manager of Audi Sport customer racing Asia, effective from 1 July 2020. He succeeds Martin Kuehl who, after nine successful years with Audi China, returns to Germany.
Blackie joined Audi China in 2016 to become Spokesman for Audi Sport customer racing Asia after working with a number of marques in the Asian customer racing field. The London-born Briton has since been a central figure in the development of Audi's pan-Asia motorsport platform.
Kuehl joined Audi China in 2011 as the company's Spokesman and Head of Corporate Communications. In this position he was also part of the management team for the Asian motorsport project since its inception in 2012 with the launch of the Audi Sport R8 LMS Cup. In 2017, Kuehl took over the responsibility for Audi Sport customer racing Asia and successfully broadened the platform culminating in over 300 Audi customer entries across races in Asia in 2019. The Hamburg-born German has now decided to put a stronger focus on his family.
Audi Sport customer racing Asia is currently gearing up for the restart of the racing season with a number of regional series having announced revised calendars which commence in the coming months.
