The EQS will be integrated into ongoing series production, being the factory's first first all-electric model. The Mercedes-Benz S-Class saloon and Mercedes-Maybach S-Class are already being produced on-site.

Factory 56 aims to provide the best possible support for the 1,500 employees at the factory in their daily work
EQS production in Factory 56 exemplifies sustainable and emissions-neutral vehicle manufacturing at Mercedes-Benz. Numerous measures that enhance environmental protection and resource conservation characterise the factory.

For instance, photovoltaic systems mounted on the roof provide around 30% of the electricity the site needs each year.

The EQS is the first all-electric, full-sized luxury saloon from Mercedes-EQ. Fusing technology, design, functionality and connectivity, the EQS delights both drivers and passengers.

The vehicle will be available in EQS 450, EQS 450+, and EQS 580 4MATIC variants.
