The Audi quattro Cup, the world's biggest amateur golf tournament, is returning for the 13th year in Singapore, following a break last year. Come 28 September 2021, more than 80 Audi customers will compete in teams of two at Sentosa Golf Club's New Tanjong Course.
Joining this year's 18-hole tournament are the local winners of the last Audi quattro Cup in 2019, Raju Arivazagan and Lim Joo Seng. The pair also won the Singapore leg of the competition in 2014.
For this year's instalment, Audi Singapore will be offering three 'Hole-in-One' prizes: The Audi e-tron, Audi e-tron Sportback and Audi A3 Sedan. Boasting a powerful dynamic in an electric drive, the Audi e-tron is a full-size SUV with a start-off performance comparable to that of a sports car and a quattro drive which can be switched on as needed. On the other hand, the Audi A3 Sedan impresses with a sporty, stylish exterior paired with a high-quality, driver-oriented interior.
The Audi quattro Cup has evolved over the years to become recognised as the leading tournament for amateur golfers globally, and currently sees approximately 70,000 golfers participate annually. This year, the Audi quattro Cup is being held in 38 countries across the world. In previous years, winners from the respective national tournaments would travel to compete in the World Final event held at different locations. However, this arrangement has been put on hold this year due to current travel restrictions.
