Volkswagen donates to conservation organisation

Volkswagen of America, Inc., has announced that it will be making a $137,000 donation to the Lookout Mountain Conservancy in the U.S.A, supporting the organisation's mission of land conservation through environmental education and sustainable recreation.
The Lookout Mountain Conservancy works with families and landowners, assisting them on a voluntary basis to conserve lands that are locally and regionally important along the 150km of Lookout Mountain spanning three states: Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia.
Located just outside Volkswagen's manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the organisation uses this inspiring outdoor classroom to foster love of the land and learning through youth education programmes, internships, and support to conserve lands deemed critical for clean air and water. Lookout Mountain Conservancy also supports the local community to establish parks, trails and natural areas for current and future generations to enjoy.
