Had been having aircon trouble for the last 6+ mths on my Opel despite having practically changed the entire aircon components over several vists at another wrkshp (costing over $1.5k). Our aircon woes are now over and it works like new again! Mr Yap was very thorough and professional in his assessment of the problem and advised us on the approx cost of the repair, which was fair for what was to be done. He also explained the problem to us. The staff there were friendly. All in, it had been a very pleasant experience. Will not hesitate to come back for any car services.

I brought my Kia in for 50,000 servicing with 1st Auto. Never been here before but based my decision on the recommendations here. Had oil change, battery change, AirCon filter change and auto transmission fluid change. They also found the tyre to be in a bad state and arranged for replacement with another merchant. Everything quite transparent and above board. Absolutely satisfied with the service by the workshop. Moreover I find the boss Yap to be a very reasonable, professional and courteous man to deal with. Highly recommend anybody.

My 4.5 years old EX's Battery Light & High Temp Light on during driving half way to home. Managed to drive back after cooling down my car but discovered coolant overspill from the reservior at the MSCP. Thinking of calling tow truck of my regular servicing RV but decided to try out 1st Auto after reading good reviews. Stop the car half way after the engine temp light up again the next day.Call 1st Auto Mr Yap around 8am and he arranged a towtruck to tow my car to his WS although the WS open at 9am. Reach the WS before 9am and he greeted me and handed over me his namecard. I explaned him the problem and he guessed it may be the Fan Belt. He was right after his mechanic show me the "broken Belt". The mechanic rect my problem with my ABS lighted up as well (After the tow) and even clean my air filter and coolant top up for free. He suggested me to clean my TB and resetting the ECU RPM after showing to me is dirty. I took it up and found my car to have good throttle response after that. Overall, i find that it was a honest charging WS that why i am writing my first review for 1st Auto. (Promise Mr Yap to write a review also) Will send my car for future servicing after comparing the price is more competitive. Regards, Pipi

I have brought a 2nd hand altis. Engine oil was leaking, after checking, Mr Yap propose to do a top over haul, had the car with him for a week plus. I told him i cannot afford to leave the car behind for too long as i need the car for the natural of my work, Mr Yap, told me that the time cannot be shorthen due to the processes involved for over haul. Seeing me in a ''trapped'' situation, he offer to lend me a car during the period that my altis is in 1st auto. I feel relief. After taking back my car, i drove for a few days and realised that the enigne oil is leaking again, i drove back and Mr Yap immediatly attend to it and too full resposibility on it. Assuring me that he will fix and take care of it. After his arrangment, he again lend him his car during the second time repair, this time also about a week. Now that my car is looking great after 2 weeks, im so gald that my nightmare is over, and thank Mr Yap for the extra service and effort to make my ride good again. I Have know Mr Yap since his days working in the north, but lost touch with him since he left, meet him again by chance and i know my ride is in safe hands when i saw him in the workshop this time. Overall, great service, reasonable prices... High recommonded.

I Wanted to do a thorough servicing because I bought a 2nd hand swift 1.5 about 2 months ago and don't really trust the dealer's servicing centre so I went over to 1st auto after a recommendation from a friend. They did a thorough inspection and found out that my car had quite a few problems though not very critical but still needed the attention to fix it. I must say they really did a very good job for the servicing and on top of that they rectified and replaced the parts that needed to be change. Price wise for servicing and changing of ignition coil is really reasonable. Plus the staff there are friendly and true enough they live up to their quality of service. Look for Yap or Roy if you need your car serviced. A highly recommended place~

went there 2 days ago to do a major servicing for my dad newly acquired car, after reading hordes of good reviews. well, wasn't disappointed indeed..! Mr Yap is really friendly, humble and honest, in spite of the crowd, he and his team took great care in ensuring the job/tasks were done meticulously. The servicing crew were polite, and make extra effort to keep ur ride clean. Didnt even have a hint of arrogance despite the good business, unlike some workshop i visited with my own car previously. Will visit him with my own ride for my next servicing :D

My Colt plus had an AC problem - not cold and AC light flashing. Within 20mins Mr Yap had diagnosed leaking coil and compressor issues. Had to keep the car overnight, due to me arriving there late afternoon! Car was ready before his predicted time and AC running good. Excellent service and very professional staff (even diagnosed and replaced my blown fuse for the interior lights for free!) Will be back again!

My name is Ian, and I'm sorry to post out this review so late. Being a 1st time dad is keeping me busy. :) Excellent service and value for money from this workshop. Would highly recommend others to come to this place. Thanks to 1st Auto, my aircon is cool again, and I am not sweating in traffic jams no more! :)

Went for servicing for my Toyota Vios on the 26 May 2012... Mr Yap was very friendly, honest and gave me good advices for my car... I did the Mobil 1 promotion servicing which is when Mr Yap checked my air con and told me that my coil had to be changed as there was a leakage... The price was reasonable that is why I changed it... After that he checked further and told me that my water pump was leaking and advice me to change as if delay i would lead to bigger problems for my car... He did not force me.. But his honesty won me over... It's hard to find people who are honest... Definitely would go back there for my next servicing... Thank you 1st auto for the service you provide... Really good....

I sent my car for regular servicing at 1st Auto on 18th May. Mr Yap attended to me personally with a warm and personable service. He recommended some further actions that can be done to improve my car after the servicing but he did not insist that these must be done immediately or with him. I appreciate the fact that Mr Yap was honest to share but not pushy. Unfortunately I met with an accident shortly and I sent my car back to Mr Yap for a quotation. He assisted in handling my insurance and I left my car in his good hands for the repairs, virtually hassle-free for me! Although it was just a first visit just last Friday, Mr Yap and his staff has shown to be friendly, professional and they did a wonderful job with my car! He is looking as good as new! All we want is to find a reliable workshop who charges reasonably with friendly service and I think 1st Auto is the place to go! Totally won me over! Thank you Mr Yap and the staff who worked on my car!

I first visited Mr.Yap 3 weeks ago for basic servicing which his crew has done an awesome job with it! During the process, they discovered that my aftermarket brake kit was leaking. As such, I left my car there for them to rectify the issues. Initially it was only some minor welding involved but upon dismantling the brakes, it was discovered that my oil seals were also leaking. As such, through Mr Yap's contacts, he managed to contact a manufacturer to attempt fabricating the seals from scratch. However, the manufacturer could not meet my expectations in terms of pricing and timing so after 3 weeks of coordination, I've decided to pull out from the deal. There was a respectable amount of workmanship and man hours put into dismantling the brakes as well as coordinating the work. In fairness to Mr. Yap, I've decided to compensate him for the work done but was flatly turned down simply because my brakes problem was not rectified. I have never bothered to do any reviews but this time, i felt compelled to do so not because I got away saving a few precious dollars which I would have been charged visiting the usual workshops with big names but it is out of gratitude. I'm grateful because Mr.yap has shown a youngster like myself that sincerity and integrity is still the way to consumers' heart and it never goes out of style in the modern business world. Great service and precious lesson I've learnt!
