sgCarMart concludes its first Arcade Drive event, which saw fun-filled activities and attractive discounts for the range of Skoda and Volkswagen cars.

sgCarMart has concluded its first Arcade Drive event, in partnership with Skoda and Volkswagen.

The event, held on 21 to 24 January 2020, offered significant discounts and savings for both brands.

The event space - spread out across both Skoda and Volkswagen showrooms - also saw activities suited for both young and old.

Over at Skoda, discounts of up to $27,000 could be had for a purchase of any of its cars. But have a go at the claw machine, and you could get a chance to win up to $3,000 worth of discounts, along with Skoda merchandise and petrol vouchers.

But what would be an Arcade Drive event without actual arcade machines? Going with the theme of cars, visitors to the Arcade Drive had a chance to relive their childhood arcade experiences, with many having a go at one of two Daytona U.S.A arcade machines.

The short obstacle course offered visitors a chance to find out the capabilities of Skoda and Volkswagen SUVs
It isn't just driving in the virtual world. Visitors who test drove a Skoda or Volkswagen SUV could try out a short obstacle course. Showcasing the increased ride height and increased outward visibility that both brands offer with its SUVs.

Speaking of SUVs and crossovers, the main star over at the Volkswagen showroom was the T-Cross - the latest addition to the brand's offerings here in Singapore.

In R-Line trim, the T-Cross comes as standard with a 300W Beats audio system. A specially set up Beats audio booth offered customers the chance to experience its range of audio headphones, too.

Kids could have a go in the Beetle Dune through a mini kiddy course
It wasn't just licensed adults who went for test drives during the Arcade Drive. Kids had a go themselves on a mini course with the iconic Beetle Dune. What's more, upon completing the course, they could get themselves a 'kiddy' licence!

Customers who booked a Volkswagen during the Arcade Drive walked away with $6,000 worth of services and free upgrades, including three years of free servicing and one year of road tax.

Of course, no event would be complete without a chance to win. Visitors had a go at the lucky spin wheel, with some walking away with a $500 Capella Hotel gift voucher!
