AA Singapore completes first ever London-Singapore expedition

The Automobile Association of Singapore (AA Singapore) welcomed its participants back to Singapore with a Homecoming Celebration following the successful completion of their three-month driving adventure across 15 countries from London to Singapore.

The AA Singapore 92-day London-Singapore AUTOVENTURE 2019 saw a convoy of 16 cars and 31 participants clocking over 22,000km from London back to Singapore. The trip, beginning from 8 August 2019 to 7 November 2019, is AA Singapore's first ever London to Singapore driving holiday.

The convoy was officially flagged off by Guest-of-Honour Singapore High Commissioner to the U.K., Her Excellency Ms. Foo Chi Hsia on 10 August 2019 in London, and the Homecoming Celebration was graced by Mr. Melvin Yong, MP for Tanjong Pagar GRC and Her Excellency, Ms. Kara Owen, British High Commissioner to Singapore.

"This trip has been exceptionally meaningful as AA Singapore organised this expedition drive in support of the Singapore Bicentennial celebrations and SG-UK Partnership for the Future." shared Mr Melvin Yong.
