Acura nets top-10 finishes at Pikes Peak

Acura has won a total of four top-10 finishes and a podium at the 101st Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
Acura Engineer James Robinson finished third in the highly competitive Time Attack 1 class with a time of 10 minutes and 11.9 seconds. He piloted the NSX Type S Active Aero Study, an NSX Type S with a custom carbon fibre bodywork complete with active aero technology.
Making its racing debut was the 2024 Integra Type S, driven by fourth generation Racer Loni Unser, who finished ninth in the Exhibition Class, with a time of 11 minutes and 34.7 seconds. Unser's family is American racing royalty with nine Indy 500 wins and twenty-six Pikes Peak overall crowns.
Acura Engineer Paul Hubers returned for his second year on the mountain behind the wheel of an Integra built by the Honda of America Racing Team (HART). His production-spec Integra completed the 20km course in 12 minutes and 8.5 seconds, achieving a 10th place finish in the Exhibition Class. Acura Engineer and Pikes Peak veteran Jordan Guitar drove his HART-built TLX Type S to an impressive time of 11 minutes and 12.1 seconds, for a seventh-place finish in the Exhibition Class.
