Acura TLX Type S gets final hand-assembled PMC Edition

Acura has revealed that it will release a final 50 hand-assembled examples of the TLX Type S PMC Edition.
These 50 cars will all come finished in a Gotham Grey matte paint, the signature colour of the NSX Type S supercar. The NSX Type S also saw 50 examples of its final PMC Edition cars allocated to the U.S.A market in July of 2022.
The final 50 examples of the TLX Type S PMC Edition will get NSX-inspired 20-inch rims, a decklid boot spoiler, and a carbon fibre rear diffuser Setting the TLX Type S PMC Edition apart from other examples of the TLX Type S is the use of a Berlina Black finish for the door handles and lower side sill garnish.
The car also comes with NSX-inspired 20-inch rims, also finished in Berlina Black. Other performance-oriented touches here include the addition of a decklid lip spoiler, carbon fibre rear diffuser, lower side sill garnish, and black-chrome quad exhaust finishers.
Inside, the car will also get carbon fibre trim panels, illuminated side sills and premium floor mats, complete with Type S badges and colored accent binding.
A Red Milano leather interior also features in the cabin, contrasted against black stitching and Ultrasuede inserts. An individually numbered serial plaque on the centre console also identifies the car as a limited edition vehicle.
The 50 examples of the TLX Type S PMC Edition will enter production in April 2023 at Acura's Performance Manufacturing Centre in Ohio. All are set to receive the same quality control processes applied to the NSX, including a dyno check, paint inspection and rough-road simulation. To protect the paint during shipping, PMC Editions are wrapped in a specially designed car cover and transported to Acura dealers via enclosed single-car carriers.
