Set to be a bold entry in Toyota's electrified lineup in the U.S.A, the 2026 C-HR BEV comes with a combined system output of 334bhp and AWD as standard, as well as a century sprint timing of five seconds.
Built on Toyota's e-TNGA BEV platform, it will be powered by a 74.7kW battery that helps deliver an estimated all-electric range of 467km and will also be capable of charging on Level One and Level Two AC power sources, as well as Level Three DC fast-charging that allows it to recharge from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes.
Standard steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters offer four different levels of regenerative braking power that convert kinetic energy to electric energy, adding charge to the traction battery.
Offered in both SE and XSE trims, exterior paint options include the all-new Overcast and Tandoori, along with Cement, Midnight Black Metallic, and Wind Chill Pearl (premium paint option). The XSE will also have two-tone paint available, including the combination of Tandoori, Cement, or Wind Chill Pearl with a Midnight Black metallic roof.
In the 2026 C-HR BEV's interior, standard features include a 14-inch touchscreen that runs the Toyota Audio Multimedia system, fully digital gauge cluster, dual wireless chargers in the centre console, and the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 system. Seating choices range from fabric and SofTex-trim (SE trim) to synthetic suede and SofTex-trim (XSE trim), and it also offers up to 719-litres of rear cargo space behind its rear seats.
This new model carries forward Toyota's multi-pathway powertrain approach, which includes a variety of models across its lineup including BEVs, Hybrids, PHEVs, and Fuel Cell (only available in California and Hawaii).
The all-new 2026 Toyota C-HR BEV is expected to arrive at Toyota dealerships across the U.S.A in 2026.
