At this year’s Kuwait Concours d’Elegance, Aston Martin is going to showcase the production V12 Zagato, making the model’s world debut at the show. The exhibition features automobiles from 19 different countries, and has been in its third successive year, the first of its kind in the region.
Dr Ulrich Bez, CEO of Aston Martin commented “We are excited to show the new V12 Zagato for the first time in production form at the Kuwait Concours d’Elegance. Over 50 years since the introduction of the iconic DB4GT Zagato, Aston Martin and Zagato have collaborated to create this modern interpretation which remains true to the original focus of craftsmanship, performance and exclusivity.”
The V12 Zagato is due for its first delivery later this year, and is limited to 150 units. The car continues the collaboration between Aston Martin and Design powerhouse Zagato as with previous models such as the DB4 GT Zagato and the V8 Zagato. Based on the V12 Vantage, the Zagato body is constructed out of hand-crafted aluminum and carbon fibre, and sports a 6.0-litre V12 engine, producing 510hp and 570Nm of torque.
The exhibition will also showcase a number of rare and iconic Aston Martins, including the original DB4 GT Zagato.
