Aston Martin has pulled the silk off the Dragon 88 special editions at the Beijing Motor Show. Designed to celebrate the Year of the Dragon, the models - a DBS Volante, Virage and V8 Vantage S - embrace the "mystical qualities of the dragon" which are "synonymous with power, strength and good luck."The cars will come in three colours. The Volcano Red shade represents the fire of the dragon, while the Amethyst Red is a classier shade that symbolises wealth, peace, protection, and intuition. Lastly, the Champagne Gold portrays the dragon’s status and prestige, wealth and fortune. More importantly, the cars will be equipped with a 24-carat gold badge on the hood. Other highlights include embroidered headrests, unique interior trim and special sill plates.
As it name suggests, production will be limited to 88 units.
