Inside, the interior trim can be specified from Aston Martin's Fast Track or Contemporary range, which allows the customer to select the grain and colour of the leather used for the interior, for a completely bespoke and customised look. There are also unique Rapide Luxe sill plates, main control switches with glass face and a secondary glass key.
Among the equipment on the Rapide Luxe include ventilated front and rear seats as standard, a rear seat entertainment system with two 6.5-inch LCD screens that are installed into the back of the front seat headrests. There is also an optional six-piece luggage set made from the same leather that has been specified by the customer, consisting of a small, two medium and a large hold-all, a beauty case and a garment bag.
Under the bonnet, the Rapide Luxe Special Edition uses the same 6.0-litre V12 engine that powers the standard Rapide, which produces 477bhp and 600Nm of torque, and allows the car to go from 0-100km/h in 5.2 seconds, and reach a top speed of 296km/h.
