Aston Martin has announced that it will be conducting a year-long celebration this year to commemorate its 110th anniversary.
The firm will be celebrating 110 years since its founding come 15 January 2023, when founders Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford officially formed the partnership that went on to create the first Aston Martin car.
The Aston Martin Razor Blade and Valkyrie are said to be the most iconic models of the firm's 110-year bloodline Born on the track and inspired by a passion for racing, Aston Martin has risen from humble beginnings in a small workshop on Henniker Mews, London, to become one of the world's most renowned automotive marques, synonymous with inventive design, luxurious craftsmanship, thrilling performance and scarce exclusivity.
The firm has released three photographs to kick off the celebrations, featuring two of what the firm considers to be its most iconic and innovative models in its 110-year bloodline.
The first car in the photos, the record-breaking 1923 racer Razor Blade, which took numerous class records at Brooklands in 1923, a year on from Aston Martin's Grand Prix debut. The second, meanwhile, is the Valkyrie, designed to bring modern Formula One engineering technology to the road.
The brand will also be launching a new, strictly limited, exclusive Aston Martin model, to be unveiled later this year.
