Audi launched its biggest event of the year in Singapore, the Audi Brand Experience Singapore 2018, yesterday at the Marina Bay Sands' Expo and Convention Centre.
The first event of its kind to be held at this scale in the region, visitors will get to see the full range of Audi's latest lineup at the incredible display spanning over 8000 square metres of floor space, from 10 to 14 October. The all new Audi A6, the A7 Sportback, the A8 and the Q8 will also be making their debut.
Visitors will get to discover the full range of Audi cars, including Audi Sport models such as the Audi R8 supercar and the latest Audi RS4 Avant. There are also Gran Turismo Sport Playstation game pods set up for visitors to experience the Audi e-tron concept virtually.
There is an Audi Shop where Audi merchandise that are specially curated for the event can be purchased via self serve kiosks. Special event offers are also available for the models on display. Visitors can also test drive various Audi models at the event.
Displayed among the cutting-edge lineup of Audi models, is the Audi e-tron Vision Gran Turismo. It is a concept car that was originally conceived in a digital form for the Vision Gran Turismo competition, which was held in conjunction with the critically acclaimed Gran Turismo Playstation game's 15th anniversary.
Unlike the others in the range, the e-tron Vision Gran Turismo has been created as a fully-functional, fully-electric concept car which has been deployed to real-world race tracks.
Its striking and futuristic design incorporates various elements of Audi's new design language which can be seen in the new e-tron models.
The highlight of the event is a spectecular driving showcase where more than 30 cars including the new A6, A7 Sportback, A8 and Q8 are driven across a large LED flooring with LED backdrops, providing an exhilarating audio-visual experience not to be missed.
Audi's futuristic Aicon and Elaine autonomous concept cars also make their appearance at the event, showcasing Audi's vision of the cars of tomorrow, the future of mobility.
The Audi Aicon is a level 5 autonomous (fully autonomous) sedan, which requires no driver input, ensuring maximum comfort for the driver and passenger. The Audi Elaine is a level 4 autonomous concept car which combines its electric drive with Audi Intelligence to relieve the driver of as many operating inputs as possible.
Tickets to the event start from S$9 for myAudiworld members and S$14 for public, and can be purchased via the MBS Box Office. Admission is free for visitors aged 17 years and below.
