Audi Hungaria hits new production milestone

Audi Hungaria has marked the two millionth car as it marks its 30^th anniversary this year.

The special car was an RS Q3 Sportback, finished in Karat beige and set to delivered to its owner in Germany. The car’s 394bhp 2.5-litre five-cylinder engine is also manufactured at Audi Hungaria.

Production at Audi Hungaria started in 1998 with the series production of the Audi TT Coupe, followed a year later by the Audi TT Roadster. The site first started production of the Audi Q3 in 2018, and is preparing series production of the Cupra Terramar come 2024. The site also produced more than 171,000 cars in 2022, the most ever in a single year.
