Australia gets special edition Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG

While at first glance, the Edition 63 version looks similar to the standard C63 AMG, there are a number of changes. For one, the Edition 63 gets unique 19-inch DTM-style alloys. Also, the Edition 63 is available in three exclusive shades; Platinum Black, Mystic White or Allanite Grey, while the Estate variant gets dark tinted privacy glass.

Inside, there are also a few differences from the C63 AMG. Two unique upholstery colours are offered, Designo sand or Designo classic red, along with extended black leather appointments with contrast stitching, illuminated door sills, AMG floor mats, and an AMG shifter.

The Edition 63 also gets a special AMG locking differential, which optimizes rear grip when accelerating out of turns.

Under the hood though, it will use the same 6.3 litre V8 engine as the standard C63 AMG, which produces 451bhp and 600Nm of torque. This enables the sedan to rocket from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, while the estate takes 4.6 seconds.

The Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Edition 63 will be limited to a run of just 63 units, all of which are exclusive to the Australian market only.
