BMW has launched a new Edition ColorVision package for the 1 Series Hatchback and the 2 Series Gran Coupe.
As you might have guessed, a total of eight expressive exterior shades are available for both cars, although the BMW Individual paint finishes can be ordered as an option. The special edition cars can also be finished in one of 50 exceptionally distinctive BMW M colours.
And if those colours don't quite offer enough pop for your taste, you'll also be able to get your Edition ColorVision package with the BMW M 50 Jahre emblem on the bonnet, boot lid, and wheel hubs as a no-cost option.
The cars will also come in the M Sport specification, which adds a large, three-section lower air intake in the front apron, a dark diffuser element, and vertically arranged air outlets in the rear apron. And those 18-inch M light-alloy wheels in Y-spoke design and Black/Silver bi-colour finish you see in the pictures are exclusive to this special edition.
Of course, it's not just all about looks. The special edition cars will also come with the M Sport suspension, which drops the ride height by 10mm. BMW's M sport steering meanwhile, will optimise the dynamic potential of both cars further.
M Sport seats in the cabin can be had in either a Black/Magma Red or a Black/White colour combination Step inside and you'll also notice the special edition cars come with a bi-colour Dakota leather trim, which can be ordered in the colour combinations Black/Magma Red and Black/White.
The special edition cars will also get M Sport seats also with an embroidered 'Edition' badge for the driver and front passenger. These seats come with integral head restraints, high seat bolsters and wide backrest sides to support a dynamic driving style.
The cars also come with an M leather steering wheel with multifunction buttons, anthracite-coloured headliner, M stainless steel pedals, and the M driver's footrest to enhance the sporting allure of the cabin.
BMW states the Edition ColorVision is available for all engine variants of the BMW 1 Series and BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, including the BMW M135i and M235i Gran Coupe, although the special edition will not be offered for the BMW 128ti.
