BMW unveils M3 DTM Champion Edition

BMW Motorsport returned to DTM racing after an absence of almost 20 years. Despite the long 'break' they performed exceptionally well.

Various design details - from the carbon flaps to dark chrome elements and matt black wheels, and the race car's livery are transferred from the DTM race car.

To celebrate the huge success, BMW M division has created a special BMW M3, the aptly titled DTM Champion Edition. The M3 DTM mildly mirrors Spengler's racing car, including an exclusive Frozen Black metallic finish.

You get more DTM inspiration in the cabin, with Spengler's helmet design replicated on the door sills while carbon fibre trim bears the champion's signature and car's serial number - out of 54 cars.

The M3 DTM is offered with various add ons like Alcantara clad steering wheel, M power labelled handbrake lever and extended black Novillo leather trim.

Potential lucky owners of the M3 DTM Champion Edition will have an opportunity to attend the BMW M Fascination Nordschleife driver training course under the supervision of Bruno Spengler himself. A fitting location then as the track is where M cars are put through extreme testings to fine tune the characteristics of the car.
