Brabus offers a rather tame tuning programme for the Mercedes SLS AMG supercar

Their recipe of adding way too much horsepower, then lowering the car, and painting it black has proven quite popular with people who have more money-than-sense.
In fact, several Mercedes board members own Brabus tuned Mercs, which is ironic, considering that Mercedes bought out Brabus' chief rival AMG in the 1990's.
The MB SLS was even developed by AMG (using a Dodge Viper chassis), and it's widely regarded as being a very good supercar, the way it is.
Apparently, the guys at Brabus thought so too because their SLS modifications only extend to cosmetics, suspension, and an exhaust system. However, rumour has it that Brabus is working on a series of engine mod's for the Gullwinged Benz. But, no details have surfaced as of yet.
Meantime, if you must have an SLS with a Brabus badge, then break open your piggy bank. Available mods include an ultra-light carbon-fibre aero kit, complete with illuminated Brabus badging in blue (the Brabus name lights up when you use the key fob, or tug on the door handle).
There's an adjustable suspension with a Comfort setting that's supposed to be more comfortable than the stock setup (apparently Brabus thinks that AMG's suspension designers were sadists).
Then there's the Brabus wheel set, endless interior upgrades, and a special titanium exhaust system that not only adds 10-hp, but it weighs a mere 12kg's - a full 40% less than the stock system (why didn't AMG think of that?).
The exhaust system also features a pneumatically controlled bypass gate that allows the SLS to be quieter than stock, with the push of a button. Brabus refers to that as "coming home mode".
The Brabus SLS is a nicely done car. But, we want the Real Brabus treatment™with a million extra horsepower, and warp-drive.
