British built Vauxhall Vivaro embarks on transcontinental expedition

The 19,312km (12,000 mile) expedition is a fund raiser for the charity organisation, Help for Heroes, and will see three former soldiers and crew including a mechanic and a medic embark on the journey in three Vauxhall Vivaro vans.
The all new Vivaro offers class leading build quality and practicality with improved cargo dimensions and excellent payload capability. The enhanced cabin is designed for comfort and control with high levels of specification including modern infotainment with DAB radio.
The route from Europe's most westerly road to Asia's most easterly spans across two continents and 17 countries including, among others, France, Belgium, Germany, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Mongolia and Russia.
The trip is fully funded by Vauxhall and other participating equipment sponsors including Max Adventure, Craghoppers and Continental. Progress of the expedition can be followed, including a video footage, a Twitter feed and a tracker.
