BYD reveals first details of new Dolphin G DM-i hatchback

BYD has revealed the first details of its new Dolphin G DM-i.

Measuring 4,160mm long and 1,825mm wide, the BYD Dolphin G DM-i isn't too far from the size of a Volkswagen Golf, and is all set to compete for market share amongst those looking for a hatchback in Europe.

The car will make use of a hybrid drivetrain giving customers the chance to drive for limited distances while delivering zero-emissions alongside the long-distance flexibility of a hybrid, all combined with family-car practicality.

BYD states that the Dolphin G DM-i offers a range of close to 1,000km when its fully charged and with a full tank of petrol.
