Car loans and Housing prices will be debated in Parliament on Monday

According to The Straits Times, car loans and HDB flat prices are among the primary issues that will be raised on Monday, the 8^th of April 2013 - as the Parliament sits for the first time since the conclusion of the budget debate last month.

Mr Lim Biow Chuan, the MP for the Mountbatten constituency, will raise to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) the question of when it will review its policy to restrict car loans, so as Singaporeans will have reasonable opportunities to purchase a car with adequate financing.

Mr Png Eng Huat, MP for the Hougang constituency, will question Minister for National Development, Mr Khaw Boon Wan, on housing prices while other questions include impact of tightened foreign worker policies and the outcome of a salary review of officers in the elite Administrative Service.

Four Bills are also up for a second reading, including one related to new parenthood measures.
