Good news, and it comes just ahead of the Lunar New Year to boot!
COE premiums have dipped across the board ahead to the long February holidays with Cat B seeing a particularly dramatic drop, slipping by a total of $10,744 compared to the last session. This drop in premiums across the board could simply be a reaction to the tightening COE supply announced just last week.
Dealers here could have opted to be more conservative with their bids in the past two weeks, opting to see market reacts before continuing to place the bids that they need to to meet the orders received during the recent motor show. This could explain the drop in bids received this session compared to the last.
