The second round of bidding for January saw Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums dropping across the board.
Despite being the first COE bidding session since the 2025 Singapore Motor Show, this session saw less bids submitted in categories B and E compared to the last bidding session. It is likely that dealers here are awaiting the expected increase in COE supply come February before they begin to submit bids to fulfil their orders received during the motor show.
It is also worth noting that current premiums for Cat B and Cat E still remain high when compared against the past 12 months as this session's slip comes on the back of a significant climb last session.
