The first round of bidding for July saw Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums climbing across the board.
The host of roadshows from brands including BMW or Suzuki could have spurred interest in new car purchases this past weeks. All this, of course, also comes alongside a new wave of launches of Cat A COE-friendly vehicles on our island, as noted in our COE analysis article here, which could have spurred the climb in premiums for the category. These launches could also explain the recent climb in the total number of bids in the category: The total number of bids received this session has jumped back close to the 2,000 mark after staying close to the 1,600s for the month of June.
