Transitlink's new smartphone app, TransitLink Mobile Services, will make it more convenient for commuters in Singapore to apply for concession card replacements.
Users can snap their photos using their camera phones and upload them using the free app, which has been launched officially today.
Payment can be made via eNets using credit or debit cards.
Currently applications for concession cards - meant for students, full-time national servicemen and the elderly - can be made online, by snail mail or at the six concession card replacement offices around the island.
The app also combines this e-service function with a public transport guide that allows users to check the estimated arrival times of buses and travelling time on trains.
