Cupra Centre Singapore opens its doors

Cupra, the performance division of Spanish brand Seat, now has a new place to call home, after Volkswagen Singapore renovated its showroom to create a space for the brand.
Seat and Cupra were previously represented by Vertex Automobile, which relinquished distributorship of the brands in 2023. Both are owned by Volkswagen, but with Volkswagen deciding to focus on Cupra, Seat effectively 'exited' the Singapore market.
Seat owners, however, can continue to head to Volkswagen Centre Singapore for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Cupra Centre Singapore has a cozy lounge-like space where customers can relax, have a coffee, or browse through lifestyle merchandise that includes sunglasses, t-shirts, and Padel racquets.
There is enough room to display three cars, with the present lineup consisting of the Cupra Born, Born VZ, and the soon-to-be-launched Tavascan, which is billed as an 'SUV coupe'.
"We are thrilled to open the doors to the home of the newest brand in our portfolio," said Dr Kurt Leitner, Managing Director of Volkswagen Group Singapore.
He continued, "With the momentous launch of Asia's first dedicated Cupra showroom, we are now home to 3 exciting brands under 1 roof together with Volkswagen and Skoda, each fulfilling a unique niche and catering to diverse customer lifestyles."
"The design of the Cupra Centre reflects the bold and progressive character of the brand. It's a space where performance meets style, and technology meets craftsmanship. Cupra owners will not just be getting a car, they will be part of a tribe that dares to stand out and challenge the status quo," elaborated Daryle-Alexis Tan, Brand Director of Cupra Singapore.
