Dacia Duster completes expedition in Scottish wilderness

The Dacia Duster has proven its mettle off the beaten path by playing an integral role in seeing a history-hunting expedition in Scotland to success.
Carried out between 17 to 24 May 2025, the 'Celtic Dagger Expedition' saw a a team searching for World War II relics and artefacts.
Two Dacia Duster Extreme 4x4s helped to carry people, supplies and equipment to remote locations on the Scottish coastline across the week as the team headed to remote locations that sometimes covered some of Scotland's hardest terrain.
The adventure was led expertly by marine conservationist, broadcaster and former Royal Marine, Monty Halls, who praised the reliability and immaculate on- and off-road capabilities of the two cars, sharing, "They took everything we threw at them and then got us home in style."
The Dacia Duster, which is currently in its third generation, boasts a class-leading ground clearance of 217mm and can be opted for with a 4x4 transmission. Variants equipped as such get Hill Descent Control, and a 4x4 Terrain Control system with five driving modes, including Auto, Snow, Mud/Sand, 4x4 and Eco.
