Dacia goes offline in the U.K. for Black Friday
27 Nov 2023|169 views
No-nonsense manufacturer Dacia has opted to shut down its online sales and car configurator in the U.K. as the rest of the nation goes into a spending frenzy.
The firm states that the move is intended to highlight its commitment to offering its range of cars at the best value for money all throughout the year, instead of just on one special day.
Dacia cites research that states that 46% of Brits are bowing out of Black Friday, with 22% actually sceptical of the deals on offer, while 22% want to be more cost-conscious with their spending. The research also found that 73% of Brits believe they can get good value across the year if they look carefully, not just on Black Friday.
To further highlight this position, Dacia has aired a radio advert that plays relaxing sounds, so consumers can tune out of the Black Friday noise.
