Eurokars Supersports ushers in the Year of the Dragon

Two great icons of power have landed here on our shores ahead of the arrival of the Year of the Dragon.

The Pagani Utopia and the McLaren 750S Spider have been unveiled here at the annual Eurokars Supersports Lunar New Year celebration, held on 5 February 2024 at Shangri-La Singapore.

The Pagani Utopia is Pagani Automobili's third model after the Zonda and the Huayra (read more about the Pagani Huayra Roadster BC here). It comes equipped with a 6.0-litre V12 that is specially built by Mercedes-AMG for Pagani, which develops a total of 864bhp alongside a total of 1,100Nm of torque. Only 99 examples of the Utopia will be produced, and all have already been assigned to their privileged enthusiasts.

Eurokars Supersports by Eurokars Group, Pagani's importer and dealer in Singapore, states that this event is first time the Pagani Utopia has arrived in Singapore since the car made its world premiere in Milan, Italy on 12 September 2022. The example displayed is scheduled to stay in Singapore for a limited time before it leaves to travel around the Asia Pacific region.

The McLaren 750S gets a wider front track and revised suspension geometry than the 720S to ensure that it delivers the necessary agility on the road and track

Attendees to the exclusive celebration also got to view the new 750S Spider. Following from the launch of the 750S Coupe here in Singapore in September 2023, the new convertible features a composite retractable hard top which allows it to weigh in at just 49kg heavier than the 750S coupe.

The 750S Spider is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 engine that produces 740bhp and 800Nm of torque, which allows it to reach 100km/h from a standstill in 2.8 seconds. A host of aerodynamic upgrades that include a lower nose section, extended front splitter, and a lengthened rear deck to better channel air towards the active rear wing distinguish the 750S from the McLaren 720S.

Eurokars Supersports states that the 750S Spider is but the first of several exciting new launches planned for the McLaren brand this 2024.
