Facelifted Ford S-Max and Galaxy revealed

The facelifted S-Max and Galaxy will be officially unveiled at the Brussels Motor Show next month, but pictures of the duo have been leaked ahead of their official launch. Ford is expected to reveal more details about the MPVs closer to the launch date.

Among the noticeable changes on the 2010 S-Max and Galaxy are a bigger and lower grille, LED driving lights and new wheels. In addition, there are redesigned rear lights and black plastic for the rear bumper, while the Galaxy also gets a subtle new front bumper with larger fog lamps.

Ford will also introduce a new 2.0 litre diesel engine, possibly replacing the existing 1.8 litre diesel engine. This engine could be tuned to produce 115bhp, 140bhp or 163bhp. There could also be a new 2.0 litre turbocharged engine jointly developed by Ford and Volvo that produces 203bhp, replacing the 2.3 litre powerplant.
