Six years after its previous event here, the RAYS World Tour event arrives in Singapore once again.
Happening at local distributor Stamford Tyres' Jurong Flagship Store, the event sees the latest range of rims from the Japanese brand, displayed for fans to get up close with.
A lineup of local cars equipped with RAYS rims have also gathered at the store to grace the event.
Held over the weekend of 19 to 20 July 2025, the special showcase is open to the public. The wide range of rims shown include legendary models from RAYS such as the TE37, CE28N and many others, with rims for performance, luxury, off-road and various types of cars.
Mr Shotaru Shiba, President of RAYS Wheels, along with his team from the brand have flown over from Japan to share with the media about their latest products
At this exclusive media preview, RAYS' team, including Mr Shotaru Shiba, President of RAYS Wheels, flew in from Japan to share with us about its latest products.
Among the latest products showcased was the 23-inch TE37GC, made for large and heavy vehicles such as the Mercedes-AMG G63, Lamborghini Urus and Bentley Bentayga
The new TE37GC, recently showcased at Tokyo Auto Salon at the start of the year, was one of the new rims that was highlighted by the team at the event.
Designed for large displacement, high-powered and heavy-duty EV cars, the TE37GC is the brand's first 23-inch forged model. With a load capacity of 900kg per wheel, it is strong enough to withstand the demands of heavy and powerful cars; marketing materials show the rims fitted on a Mercedes-AMG G63 SUV.
In addition to its load rating, the TE37GC is also offered in two new finishings: A.S.T. Crystal Buff, a mirror-polished finish, and A.S.T. Brushed, a classy, brushed aluminium finish.
RAYS' sub-brand MID WHEELS is manufactured outside of Japan, allowing it to be offered at a competitive price point
The team also took the opportunity to introduce its sub-brand MID WHEELS - originally a brand name that belonged to Maruka Service, which RAYS took over after it acquired the company.
Unlike RAYS rims, which are manufactured exclusively in Japan, MID WHEELS are manufactured outside of Japan, allowing it to be offered at competitive pricing. Mr Shiba mentioned during his speech that car owners who are considering replica wheels should check out MID WHEELS' lineup instead.
Apart from the budget-friendly offerings, MID also has a lineup of carbon fibre-barrelled rims, named the Element Sikth, which is highly customisable with different carbon fibre patterns and three distinct face designs, along with bespoke design possibilities. With the sub-brand, the company is able to push out revolutionary products such as this, which wouldn't have been aligned with the RAYS core branding as a high-performance forged aluminium wheel manufacturer.
The RAYS World Tour 2025 event is happening this weekend, from 10:30am to 6.30pm on Saturday, 19 July, and 2:00pm to 6:30pm on Sunday, 20 July. The Stamford Tyres Jurong Flagship Store is located at 19 Lok Yang Way, Singapore 628635.
