First win for Audi customer team in Pirelli World Challenge

The fourth SprintX race weekend in the North American Pirelli World Challenge race series was an unforgettable one for the TruSpeed AutoSport squad. In the first race on Saturday, the team was delighted about its first podium finish this season with third place for their Audi R8 LMS.
On Sunday, Parker Chase and Ryan Dalziel celebrated their breakthrough at the Grand Prix of Portland in the state of Oregon. The Pro-Am driver combination won by two seconds in front of two Pro lineups that completed the podium. It was the first GT3 win this season of an Audi customer team in this series.
In the fourth round of the Italian GT Championship, Audi Sport Italia produced a strong comeback drive. In the second race at Mugello, Marcel Fassler started in the Audi R8 LMS from the ninth position and overtook several competitors before handing over the car to teammate Bar Baruch.
The Israeli racing driver fought his way into a podium position and finally finished third. After two wins and a third place it is already the fourth podium result this season for Emilio Radaelli's team.
Team Phoenix Racing Asia claimed a podium finish with the Audi R8 LMS at the fourth round of the Super Taikyu Series. At the Autopolis track, Alex Au and Shaun Thong from Hong Kong together with Alex Yoong from Malaysia crossed the finish line in third place after five hours of racing.
In Dijon, the customer racing squad Sainteloc Racing took its first trophies with the Audi R8 LMS GT4 in the French GT4 France race series.
In the third round of the series on the roller-coaster track in east French Burgundy, Gregory Guilvert/Fabien Michal had to settle for second place in race one only 46 thousandths-of-a-second behind after one hour of racing. In the second race the French driver pair finished third and clinched another podium result for Sebastien Chetail's team.
In the Portuguese Hill Climb Championship, the Audi RS3 LMS continues its winning streak. In round five of the series, Luis Nunes secured his fifth consecutive class victory on the Rampa do Caramulo track.
