Ford launches new apparel line with Sydney Sweeney

Ford and Actress Sydney Sweeney have launched a new workwear line in collaboration with apparel firm Dickies. The new line follows from the launch of a Ford x Sydney Sweeney line earlier in 2023 which saw such high demand that its most popular items were sold out in less than 36 hours, prompting a restock.

This new collection is inspired by Sweeney's experiences growing up in a family of mechanics, as well as her 1965 Mustang, which is affectionately named 'Britney' after the original colour Brittany Blue.

Ford has further enlisted the help of auto-restoration enthusiasts Adri Law, Gelica Peralta, Sandy Rancatore, Isabelle Rosa, and Lauren Fox to showcase the lineup. The team will appear in an online lookbook modelling the apparel, which will be available for purchase at Ford's merchandise page here.

This lookbook will also provide step-by-step instructions for basic vehicle maintenance, changing a car battery and checking tyre pressure, brake fluid, and oil.

As part of the workwear launch, Ford is also offering an exclusive first glimpse of Sweeney's baby blue vintage Mustang. Sweeney will also share her restoration plans and demonstrate a tune-up from the garage.

Sweeney launched an Auto 101 series this earlier this year to help teach viewers how to check their vehicle tyre pressure, jump a dead battery, and other aspects of vehicle maintenance. The series sought to inspire women to feel more comfortable working on their vehicles.
