Geely GE limousine to be unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show

The Geely GE limousine was previously criticised for being too similarly-designed to the Rolls-Royce Phantom, and Geely has now given the GE a facelift to differentiate the car from the Phantom. The facelifted GE limousine will be officially unveiled at the 2010 Beijing Motor Show on April 23.

On the outside, the GE features a curvier front end with a brand new grille that has rounder and more arched vertical bars. The headlights are now a thin, slanted and rectangular design, complete with a set of LED daytime running lights, with the strip of indicator lights moved to the lower bumper where circular fog lights had been.

Inside, the single-seat configuration has been replaced by two individual seats, and controls and cup holders are set within the arm rest between the two seats. There are also new door inserts, while the hood ornament has been changed, to counter claims that it looks too similar to Rolls-Royce's Spirit of Ecstasy icon.
