German tuning company and Porsche specialists TechArt have previewed their handiwork on the new Boxster codenamed 981, and now they have released a new set of photos and revealed a little more details.
"Our aim was to give the Porsche Boxster an even sportier expression with intelligently applied exterior components while simultaneously underlining the elegant look of the vehicle", comments TechArt's Managing Director Thomas Behringer.
The cosmetic enhancement for the handsome Boxster comes from a body kit with a two-part front spoiler, mirror trims and crosspieces for the side air vents. At the rear you will find a refined decorative trim on the diffuser and a beautifully machined fixed rear wing. New tailpipe exits with valve control and 21-inch light alloy wheels are available in various designs. A sport spring kit lowers the Boxster 30mm closer to the ground at the front and 20mm at the rear.
In the cabin, you will be cocooned in luxury with full leather, carbon fibre, bespoke paddle shifters, steering wheel and instrument dials. Moreover you get aluminium sport pedals and foot rest, and door entry guards.
TechArt 981 will offically unveil its handicraft in the metal at next month's Essen Motor Show in Germany.
