HMGICS appoints new VP to accelerate innovation journey

Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Centre Singapore (HMGICS) has announced that it has appointed Ms Min Ling Chan as Vice President, Head of the Technology Innovation Group (TIG). This strategic appointment reflects HMGICS's commitment to accelerating its innovation journey and further strengthening its leadership in mobility solutions.
With over two decades of experience leading large-scale transformations across various regions, Ms Chan's career includes a key role at Ford Motor Company's Australia base, where she managed engineering processes and led efforts to improve operations across the region. In addition, she is also a passionate advocate for diversity in engineering and believes that Hyundai's strong technological capabilities, combined with a talented workforce, are the key to the organisation's success.
In her new role, Ms Chan will lead digital transformation efforts and oversee the implementation of advanced technologies, including the development of a robust digital infrastructure to enhance data integration, automation, and intelligent systems.
Working closely with Chief Innovation Officer, Dr Alpesh Patel, and the rest of the teams at HMGICS, Ms Chan will focus on achieving the vision of the future factory, all while enhancing operational efficiency and fostering innovation in the future mobility value chain.
