Hyundai reveals its Santa Cruz for the Rebelle Rally

Hyundai has revealed its Santa Cruz set to compete in the Rebelle Rally.

The car will be driven in the competition by Brute Squad - a pair comprising of Automotive Journalists Jill Ciminillo and Kristin Shaw. The Hyundai Santa Cruz, meanwhile, is said to only have required minimal modifications to prepare it for the 2,400km rally across the California and Nevada desert. 

These improvements were developed by Hyundai Motor America model line Engineer Eric Buxton as well as the experts at the Hyundai America Technical Centre, and include a customer front bumper and skid plate, larger Falken Wildpeak A/T3W off-road tyres, a roof-rack-mounted light bar, as well as a Truxxx lift kit, amongst others. And should the Santa Cruz get bogged down in really tough terrain, the truck also comes with a spare tyre mount, while MaxTrax recovery tracks and shovel mounts are available to utilise within its rear bed.

This vehicle's combination of genuine Hyundai accessories and aftermarket enhancements is said to be a demonstration of just how far customers will be able to personalise their own Santa Cruz to fit their own unique personalities and requirements.
