Hyundai Tucson ranked Most Dependable Small SUV by J.D. Power

The Hyundai Tucson has received the distinct honour of Most Dependable Small SUV by J.D. Power in its 2018 Vehicle Dependability Study. The annual Vehicle Dependability Study ranks the Tucson as the highest in its class, beating out leading competitors. The Tucson offers sporty styling, outstanding efficiency and cutting-edge safety technologies.

Overall, Hyundai scored an impressive sixth-place finish in the entire industry and third-best in the non-premium category, lowering its 'Problems Experienced Per 100 Vehicles (PP100)' by nine problems. Also, the Hyundai Santa Fe has ranked second in its segment. For the 2018 model year, Tucson adds a 7.0-inch audio display system with expanded availability of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, HD Radio and heated seats.

The study, now in its 29^th year, examines problems experienced during the past 12 months by original owners of 2015 model-year vehicles. Overall dependability is determined by the number of PP100, with a lower score reflecting higher quality. The study covers 177 specific problems grouped into eight major vehicle categories.
