Jaguar launches the much-awaited F-PACE in Singapore

Jaguar has launched its first-ever luxury performance Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) in Singapore. Inspired by the acclaimed C-X17 concept vehicle, the new Jaguar F-PACE bears all the trademarks of the brand - pure form, beautiful lines and a sporting silhouette.

Embodying the pure Jaguar DNA of legendary performance, exceptional handling and luxury, the F-PACE combines maximum driving exhilaration with space and everyday versatility, and is the ultimate practical sports car.

As a performance SUV with the DNA of a sports car, the F-PACE's progressive and purposeful appearance is also greatly influenced by the F-TYPE.

Developed using Jaguar's Lightweight Aluminium Architecture, the F-PACE's aluminium-intensive monocoque gives it a high torsional stiffness with unrivalled weight. This extremely robust structure, together with the F-TYPE-derived double wishbone front suspension and sophisticated Integral Link rear suspension, sets the benchmark for driving dynamics in its class.

The F-PACE is brought to life through the power of its engines, combined with Jaguar's advanced dynamic performance technologies. Designed and manufactured in-house, the 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged Ingenium diesel engine delivers performance and refinement, without compromise to its power and torque output of 177bhp and 430Nm. A fuel consumption of 18km/L makes the diesel powertrain highly fuel efficient while still packing enough punch to complete the century sprint in 8.7 seconds.

The car is also available in two 3.0-litre V6 supercharged petrol engines, shared by the F-TYPE. Characterised by immediate throttle response, linear power delivery and unique intake and exhaust sounds, the 335bhp (35T) and 375bhp (S) all-aluminium powerplants promise a rewarding experience, delivering instant access to high levels of performance and refinement. Tuned to produce up to 450Nm of torque, the V6 engines are capable of reaching 100km/h from zero in 5.8 seconds and 5.5 seconds respectively.

Together with Jaguar's most sophisticated torque on-demand all-wheel drive (AWD) system ever and specifically optimised ZF 8HP eight-speed automatic transmissions, the F-PACE offers a peerless driving experience.

The car features the advanced, in-house Intelligent Driveline Dynamics control system first developed for the F-TYPE AWD, which preserves rear-wheel drive agility and handling character.

Further enhancing the F-PACE's AWD system is the optional Adaptive Surface Response (ASR) technology. Developed from Land Rover's patented, award-winning Terrain Response technology, the ASR makes the AWD system even more effective in challenging conditions. 

Jaguar has also built into the F-PACE some of the most advanced driver assistance systems available. From systems that improve low-speed traction in adverse conditions to blind spot monitoring, the F-PACE features a suite of technologies developed to make driving safe and more enjoyable.

Inside, traditional Jaguar craftsmanship blends seamlessly with the optional, configurable 10-colour ambient lighting, state-of-the-art InControl Touch infotainment system and the 12.3-inch HD virtual instrument cluster. Combined with a meticulous attention to detail, the F-PACE's interior exudes sophistication and bold sporting style, further enhancing the driving experience. Behind, a 40:20:40 rear seat configuration means that the rear seats can be folded completely or individually in a variety of combinations, with every inch carefully considered for maximum usability.
